Cooler and thermos flasks: Especially a good cooler is always needed in every season.

  • You will need to keep your food and beverages fresh and chilled.
  • A cooler will prevent your food especially the raw ones, from harbouring bacteria. For example in this case, when you have to bring raw meat to make grilled kebabs.
  • You should choose a best cooler for camping because it is exclusively designed to store your food on the move and in a long time outside.

Camera:Capture the best moments with your camera

  • Taking pictures is a best way to keep memorable moments.

Plastic Bags: Remember to always clean up before leaving the picnic site! Don’t litter the beautiful the scenery.

  • Pack all your trash into the plastic bags and throw them into trash bins.

Pineapple banana strawberry smoothie for your hot summer days

Nothing quenches your thirst and craving better than a cool and fruity smoothie in a hot summer day!

Even better, you can make your own recipe with the very common ingredients and probably are available in your fridge. Complete your hot, summer afternoon by chilling by the lake or a pool, sipping your tasty smoothie while chit chatting with your family or friends.

Making your own smoothie does not only guarantee you the sanitation and freshness but you can also customize the recipe to cater to your taste.

You have a sweet tooth and crave for sweet smoothies but worried about derailing your diet?

A Pineapple, strawberry and banana smoothie is one of the best choices out there for you. What’s good with this smoothie is that it is gluten free, sweet enough hence you don’t have to add extra sugar so you don’t have to worry about your diet.

This is a pineapple strawberry banana smoothie recipe for your reference (of courseyou can create your own recipe by changing the proportion to your liking. You can even add extra ingredients such as: coconut water or honey or juices…).

banana strawberry smoothie

It will take only several minutes from preparation to final product if your fruits are already readied. The only challenging part would be peeling and coring the pineapple which is pretty time-consuming, but it’s worth it anyway because fresh pineapple compliments the smoothie well. If you don’t have fresh pineapple, you can use canned pineapple instead but of course it won’t taste as good.

Ingredients:You can replace fresh fruits with your frozen fruits if it’s more convenient for you.

  • Half pint of fresh, stem removed strawberries, cut them in half.
  • Half pint of pineapple:

Pineapple adds a tropical vibe to the smoothie.

After you have finished preparing the pineapple but peeling and coring it, chop it into small cubes.

  • 2 fresh, peeled bananas, cut them vertically in half then slice them into small chunks, we’re supposed to have 16 pieces per each banana.

Bananas are very substantial to the smoothie since they add creaminess, fluffiness and fullness to it, even without milk or yogurt.

The riper the bananas get, the sweeter they will be, if you prefer a sweeter taste, choose the very ripe bananas, they are also cheaper since bananas tend to ripen quickly.

  • ¾ cup of water (you can change water with pineapple juice, coconut water, orange juice or anything that you prefer). This is because you need to add fluid to blend everything in and also help your blender get going.
  • 1 or 2 containers of low-fat lime or lemon yogurt.
  • 2 cups of cubed ice (disposable).

You can make 6 servings out of this.

Extra ingredients:

  • Make your smoothie more nutritional balance by adding a few tablespoons of one of these following things. (You can choose one, or mix some of them together):

Sunflower seeds, almonds, coconut meat, pumpkin seeds, hemp, china seeds…

Virgin coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil…

  • Add more sweetness by:

Raw honey, molasses, pitted dates…

  • Add more protein:

Some scoops of protein powder.

Of course, you don’t necessarily need to add the exact right amount of each ingredient, just use how much you need, you can’t go wrong! Everyone has a different taste. Who knows, you would be pleasantly surprised.

Add the fruits first: Pour strawberries, bananas and pineapple into the blender, blend it for a while.

Next, add the remaining ingredients such as: ice, milk, yogurt…

Blend them until the substance becomes smooth. A mixture of smoothie like this will serve you calories, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, protein, sodium, iron, folate, phosphorus, Vitamin A and C…

Serve immediately in enjoy the best quality of the freshly made smoothie.

If you prefer a colder taste, store the smoothie in the fridge to make cool it down.

In case you don’t want to add ice since it will water down your smoothie, you can use frozen fruits to make the smoothie instead of using fresh ones

What if you are planning to go for a picnic or a bike trip?

No problem! Just store the freshly made smoothie in an ice chest or an ice cooler, that way you can keep your smoothie chilled, fresh and prevent bad bacteria from growing while on the move.

Summer is the time when people decide to go on a picnic with their family, friends or their colleagues. Make sure to choose the best ice chest to keep your foods and beverage in the best condition and prevent food poisoning, especially in the summer since bacteria grow best in warm temperatures.

Let’s get into it and boost up your summer day with your DIY pineapple banana strawberry smoothie!

Kale Smoothie Recipes For a Healthy Lifestyle

Kale Smoothie Recipes For a Healthy Lifestyle

Kale To The Chief

The phrase “kale smoothie” often elicits a grimace from the face of someone listening to that expression. Kale, despite its growing popularity, is still relatively shunned compared to its leafy green cousins spinach and cabbage.  Mixing it into a thick textured smoothie won’t automatically improve the situation. However by throwing in apples and oranges, for example, fruits, carrots, pineapple, bananas, or strawberries, it can become a surprisingly refreshing and tasty beverage.

There are numerous kale smoothie recipes that not only provide a great, refreshing taste in the morning or afternoon, but they’re also full of vitamins, antioxidants and anti-cancer properties to keep you healthy. These refreshing green beverages are a great way to detox your body and get your health back on track. Smoothies made with kale may not at first sound as appetizing as say a chocolate milkshake, but they can be just as tasty. They’re also refreshing in the summer, and you can add a few blocks of ice to keep you cool.
